JFA signs on partnership with Uzbekistan

Japan Football Association (JFA) signed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) today, 17 November 2017. This agreement between the two football governing bodies will deepen the mutual relationship and continuous cooperation for further development of football in both Uzbekistan and Japan.
Having welcomed UFF President Mr. Umid AKHMATDJANOV to the JFA House, JFA President TASHIMA Kohzo expressed his appreciation for this precious occasion of signing the first MoU between the associations. “I am very much honoured and pleased to be able to welcome Mr. Umid AKHMATDJANOV to Japan from Tashkent for signing this partnership with Uzbekistan Football Federation. This agreement covers various areas such as development of both men’s and women’s national teams, youth, coach and referee education, facility management and operation. Our two associations shared lots of history: various matches in different categories including the tough matches in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and in 2016, we co-organised “SPORT FOR TOMORROW” Central Asia-Japan U-16 Football Exchange Programme in Tashkent. Based on these cooperation, we are looking forward to further strengthening our relationship and working together for the football development in both countries through this partnership. We trust this will contribute to the beautiful game in Asia.”
The MoU between UFF and JFA agrees on the cooperation with each other in the following areas:
1.Improvement and Exchange of National Teams
2.Exchange in the technical and specialised area of Coach Education, Sports medicine, Management, etc.
3.Education and Exchange of Referees
4.Management and Operation
5.Facility Management and Operation
Until today JFA has signed MoU with the following football associations:

[East] Hong Kong, Mongolia
[ASEAN] Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos
[South] India
[Central] IR Iran
[West] Jordan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman
Europe
England, France, Germany, Spain and Denmark
