What Is a Tutor?
JFA is committed to developing tutors who serve as instructors for its Licensed Coach Training Courses and Refresher Training Courses. Through the Tutor System, JFA aims to enhance the quality of coach education programmes while providing registered coaches with opportunities for continued learning and professional development. Tutor certification is awarded by JFA to candidates who attend the relevant JFA Tutor Training Course for each licence and are assessed as meeting the required standards.
Types of Tutors
Tutors certified through JFA Tutor Training Courses serve as instructors for the Licensed Coach Training Courses and Refresher Training Courses corresponding to their respective licences.

JFA Coach Titles and Roles
JFA Coaches (formerly known as National Training Centre Coaches) are coaches dedicated to advancing JFA’s technical activities. They are responsible for promoting JFA’s policies and specific initiatives for national team development, youth development, coach education and grassroots football across coaching environments throughout Japan.
