Nagoya Oceans retain All-Japan futsal title
17 March 2014

Nagoya Oceans retained the PUMA CUP 2014, All-Japan Futsal Championship, on Sunday with a 4-2 win over Espolada Hokkaido in Tokyo.
The win meant Nagoya made a triple sweep of titles two years in a row after defending their F. League and League Cup crowns earlier in the season.
Bardral Urayasu finished third after edging Pescadola Machida 3-1 in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw.
At Yoyogi Gymnasium in Tokyo, Nagoya took the lead in the 12th minute through Kitahara Wataru.
But Victor Garcia’s side gave away two goals through Murota Shogo in the 18th minute and Abe Kyoya two minutes later, finishing the first half 2-1 behind.
The defending champions, however, fought back in the second half with some crisp passing work and leveled the scores in the 24th minute through Watanabe Tomoaki.
Yoshikawa Tomoki broke the tie in the 34th minute and Ximbinha followed in the 37th minute for Nagoya.
