Japan Futsal National Team short-listed squad – training camp report (6/1)
02 June 2015

The training camp for Japan Futsal National Team short-listed squad has begun on 1 June in Chiba. Seventeen players joined the first camp held this year and continue for three days untill Wednesday. Under the instructions by physical coach Muraoka, the training was focused on recovering menu considering accumulated fatigue of players who just finished playing the league. Started with passing the ball as players making circle taking hands together, they played futsal volley, sort of soccer volley, placing protective net and futsal goal in between.
First-time call-ups of Sakai and Shibano were aggressively communicating with other players and finished the first day training in good atmosphere.
It was Sakai’s 32nd birthday and we congratulated him at the dinner time.

Players’ Comments
SAKAI Rafael Yoshio (NAGOYA OCEANS)
It was my goal to become Japan international. I am much honored to be called up in training camp this time. This was the first training camp of national team for me and really motivated to take part in the training. Actually this is the short camp, but I want to get to know other players as soon as I can by pro-actively communicating with other players.
SHIBANO Sota (VASAGEY OITA)
This is my first call-up to Japan Futsal National Team, I had a training in pretty good condition. All the players in the team are friendly and I want to become part of the team sooner by making closer communication with others. I hope to spend this training by picking up anything I could and become a regular Japan international player.
