Ahead of the Beach Soccer International Friendly Tournament that will take place at Okura Beach Park, Hyogo, the Tahiti Beach Soccer National Team arrived in Japan on Saturday 21 September.

Led by player-coach Naea BENNETT, 15 members of the Tahiti Beach Soccer National Team made their ways from the airport to their hotel.

The Tahiti Beach Soccer National Team will hold their training sessions between Sunday 22 to Thursday 26, before facing the Spain Beach Soccer National Team on Friday 27 and the Japan Beach Soccer National Team on Saturday 28.

We are very thankful to be invited for this wonderful tournament. The Tahiti Beach Soccer National Team has visited Japan in 2016, but this trip should give us a valuable experience ahead of the Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay. We are looking forward to face strong sides like Japan and Spain.

Charles LABASTE
This is my second time visiting Japan as a member of the Tahiti Beach Soccer National Team. Three years ago, we suffered back to back losses to Japan, so we will try to redeem ourselves by winning this time. Japan and Spain are both very strong teams, so we are expecting the matches to be very tough, but we will fight hard as a team to win both matches.
