SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) Supporting Project in Thailand Decorating Bangkok Metro Station with Japan National Team Players
11 June 2014
Japan Football Association(JFA)started a promotion event at Chatuchak Park Station, Bangkok Metro, Thailand on Sunday, 1 June, posting graphics of SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) prominent players.
This campaign coincides with SAMURAI BLUE’s international matches: International Friendly Matches against Costa Rica and Zambia in Tampa, U.S.A and all SAMURAI BLUE matches of 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, as they will be broadcasted on TV in Thailand. Representing Asia, this will be a big driving force behind SAMURAI BLUE playing in the big championship.
The catch phrase, “Cheer for Japan, team of Asia”, expresses the hope that people in other Asian countries cheer for Japan as the Asian representative.
The graphics was posted in every corner of the station such as escalators, elevators, ticket gates and the platform. The large images are high-impact and have attracted many peoples’ attention. Some people took pictures together with the graphics.
