In the evening of 14 August, U-19 Japan Women’s National Team arrived in Nanjing, China where the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2015 will be held. In the next morning, the team had a light training that focused on physical conditioning to adjust them to the new conditions.
In the afternoon, they had a 3-on-3 + GK, and 4-on-4 + GK sessions to check their tactics in front of goals and another mini game session at the end of the day.

MF #7 SUGITA Hina (INAC Kobe)
Until the first match of the championship, I want to make good decisions in the middle much quicker and contribute to scoring. As a team we need to pay more attention to scoring goals. Our aim is to win this championship, along with qualifying for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
FW #22 ANZAI Yuka (JEF United Ichihara Chiba Ladies)
Now I have more sense of tension in regards to the championship after arriving in China where we will play for the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship. We want to improve our level of play not only as a team but also as individual players, to win this championship. I want to play aggressively to contribute to the team’s victory.
