On Monday 10 November, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held the official draw for the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup Thailand 2026™ in Bangkok, Thailand.

Following the draw, Japan was placed in Group C alongside Australia, Chinese Taipei, and India. The tournament will take place in Thailand from 1 to 18 April 2026.

The top four teams from the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup Thailand 2026™ will automatically qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Poland 2026™.
