Ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, the U-24 Japan National Team will play two international friendly matches against the U-24 Argentina National Team on Friday 26 and Monday 29 March at Tokyo Stadium and Kitakyushu Stadium, respectively.

The U-24 Argentina National Team has finished in first place at the South American qualifiers for the Olympics, which took place between 18 January and 9 February 2020. It will be the first time the two sides face each other at this category.
