Players’ Comments

KISHIMOTO Takeru (Cerezo Osaka U-18)
In this camp, I tried to run hard enough even in the heat and run through space behind defenders. I was able to score two goals but had more chances to score. I will keep that in mind and work on daily practice to surely get a goal in such situations. And today is my birthday, so I'm happy to get a goal.

KOJIMA Ryosuke (Waseda University)
It was a short-term camp. But we understood what the team concept is in both offence and defence and had good moments at both ends of the pitch throughout the camp from training sessions to the match on the final day. Even so, if we, including me, improve the accuracy of plays, we can be a better team. We will try to play more quality football and go for the upper spot.

MASUYAMA Asahi (Vissel Kobe U-18)
In this national team camp, I was able to find out more about myself through the physical test and FMS test and make clear of what to improve. In the match on the final day, my defence wasn't good enough and we conceded a goal from my flank. I will always try to position at more central space. I think I need to polish my trait of dribbling and improve my individual ability.

TAKAGI Akito (Gamba Osaka Youth)
This camp was short, but everyone communicated with each other well and it turned out to be a good one. It was good that we were playing collectively in today's match, such as going toward a goal and challenging to win the ball. Throughout the past camps including this one, the team are getting in better form. But our pressure on the opponents was poor and we had a lot of careless mistakes. We will work hard to lessen such things back to our own team.

ABE Koto (Albirex Niigata U-18)
The final day of the Niigata camp had a practice match against College of Upward Players in Soccer. The yesterday's practice session was cancelled because of lightning, but we were able to share our team concept in today's match.

In the meanwhile, we had a lot of moments where we chased the opponents and the ball and lost the ball in a poor way right after winning it, so we want to solve such problems. As an individual, I need to be hungrier to protect our goal. We don't have much time left for the October's qualifiers, so I will do what I’m supposed to do in my club and try to showcase myself.
