IKEDA Futoshi Coach's Comment
We assembled the team this February and set our goal as qualifying for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018. Now the competition for the place in the World Cup will start in Asia. I have selected the U-19 members for the AFC Championship. I understand that the competition in Asia will be difficult. We cannot be concerned about what awaits us in the future, but instead focus on each game at hand. We will play with confidence and display our style of football as well as capitalising on our strength to get through the championship.
