Referees Comments
KOZAKI TOMOHIRO International Futsal Referee (Osaka)
This is my first time to work in the AFC Championship. There is a total of eighteen referee in this championship, fourteen referees from the AFC, two from the UEFA and two more standby referees. We all have different cultures and speak different languages. But we got together two days before the opening, shared the standards, and took training and seminars together. We stay together in the same place, too, so we communicate a lot and build a good teamwork, which is as good as that of any national team participating in the championship.Throughout the whole event, we want to show that teamwork through our job on the pitch.
KOBAYASHI HIROYUKI International Futsal Referee (Osaka)
I work in the AFC Championship for the first time. So I have been very anxious and nervous since I received the appointment. But I believe in myself and take pride in representing Japan, just as the players do. I will do everything I can.
The eighteen referees from thirteen countries including two from the UEFA will make up the referee team for this championship. We need to communicate many things during matches. We have only a limited number of days together to prepare. I want to get to know them and I want them to get to know me as well. It's very encouraging to know that I am not alone on the pitch and I have teammates there. We work together and we will have fun doing our job in the best futsal matches in Asia.
