Japanese Instructor Mr. TAKAHASHI Hideharu dispatched to Bhutan

In efforts to support the development of football in Asia, Japan Football Association (JFA) has been dispatching instructors to many regions of Asia. On Monday 3 May, Mr. TAKAHASHI Hideharu was dispatched to Bhutan, where he will serve as the Head Coach of U-18 Bhutan National Team and U-15/U-18 BFF Academy, as well as the Academy Youth Director to guide the players who will lead the future of Bhutan.

Coach’s Comment

TAKAHASHI Hideharu, Head Coach, U-18 National Team & BFF Academy U-15・U-18 / Academy Youth Director
I have been appointed Bhutan U-18 National Team Coach and Bhutan Academy Youth Director. Bhutanese football is about to change dramatically. Bhutan Football Federation President Mr. Ugen TSECHUP is planning a school reform that will appoint football coaches to all high schools. In addition, staff members led by General Secretary Ugyen WANGCHHUK are creating the Bhutanese Football Philosophy to bring the president's ideas to fruition, and are conducting daily meetings to discuss developing a new coach licensing system. I am very grateful for this wonderful opportunity and I will do my utmost to meet the expectations and build on the achievements and trust the Japanese coaches have left before me. I value “For Bhutanese For Bhutan” and I will do my best for the future of Bhutan.
