JFA renews partnership with Football Association of Indonesia

Japan Football Association (JFA) signed a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) on 22 May 2023. JFA and PSSI have cooperated at various levels since the MoU was first signed in December 2017 and hope to further expand their partnership going forward.
The signing ceremony took place in Prince Takamado Memorial JFA YUME Field and went in an amicable manner. Both parties discussed how various exchanges can be conducted through the renewal of the partnership this time and expressed high expectations for future initiatives.
The MoU ceremony was conducted in the presence of:
・ Mr. Erick THOHIR, President, PSSI
・ Mr. Zainudin AMALI, Vice President, PSSI
・ Ms. Vivin CAHYANI, Executive Committee Member, PSSI
・ Mr. TASHIMA Kohzo, President, JFA

The MoU between PSSI and JFA aims to facilitate cooperation in the following areas:
・ Referees Development
・ Exchange in Referee and Coach Education and Administration
・ Friendly Matches between National Teams
・ Study Programme for Clubs and staff
・ Collaboration between National Leagues
・ Knowledge sharing regarding National Training Centre
・ Women’s Football

Until today JFA has signed a MoU with the following football associations, confederation and club:

[ASEAN] Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
[Central] Iran, Uzbekistan

CONMEBOL, Argentine, Paraguay, Venezuela
