Personal Information Protection Policy
The Japan Football Association (“JFA”) will carry out the following measures in order to properly obtain, manage and use the personal information in accordance with the basic policy described in the following sections and in order to ensure the protection of such personal information in accordance with the principles of the Personal Information Protection Act and other related laws and regulations.
1. Basic policy regarding the acquisition of personal information
The JFA will, upon disclosing the purpose of use, collect personal information through legal and appropriate means from the subject individual or from others with authority to disclose such information.
2. Basic policy regarding the management of personal information
The JFA will manage the personal information, by taking legal and appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and other inappropriate handling such as loss, destruction, falsification and leakage of the personal information.
3. Basic policy regarding the use of personal information
The JFA will use the personal information in a legal and appropriate manner within the purpose of use disclosed at the time of acquisition.
4. Basic policy regarding delegation of handling of personal information
The JFA will, when delegating the handling of personal information to a third-party, choose a third-party which undertakes security control measures for personal information conforming to the security control measures carried out by the JFA, and will continue to supervise the delegated third party through legal and appropriate means.
5. Basic policy regarding provision of personal information to a third party
The JFA will not provide personal information to a third party without consent of the subject individual, unless permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act and other related laws and regulations.
6. Basic policy regarding deletion
The JFA will make effort to delete the personal information without delay when use of the personal information is no longer necessary.
7. Basic policy regarding securing the rights of the subject person
The JFA will, upon a request made from the subject person of the personal information and through legal and appropriate means, undertake disclosure, correction, addition or removal, suspension of use, deletion or suspension of provision to a third party of the personal information, pursuant to the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act.
