Coaches' Comment
ONIKI Toru, Coach (Kawasaki Frontale)
We conceded a goal in the first half, but had firm control of the match and displayed our style of football in the second. In the blazing heat, we scored thrice and gained important away goals. The next match will be played at home, but we still expect to be a tough contest. Against the opponents with many talented players, we need to brace ourselves for the second leg as well.
TOTCHTAWAN SRIPAN, Coach (Muangthong United)
It was a tough match. We performed well until the 55th minute, but my players seemed to have lost their concentration thereafter. Against the Kawasaki side coming out aggressively to attack in the second half, we were defending at sixes and sevens. I believe that is the reason why we lost today.
