DF 3 MINAMI Moeka

Using her height to her advantage, she is adept at aerial duels and risk management, as well as extending her team's attacking options with aggressive cross-field passes.
From 2020, she became a regular centre-back, partnering Kumagai.
She also uses the leadership skills she developed during her time with the youth national teams to keep the team calm.
From 2022, she took her talent to Serie A (Italy), where she helped AS Roma win back-to-back championships.
Along with Kumagai, whom she says she “respects as a person and a player,” she was named one of the 11 best players in Serie A this season.
She likes to work at her own pace and enjoys sightseeing in Italy when she has time off.
